More Trees for Laguna as Anchor Land Launches CSR Program
Nov 02, 2016

OCTOBER 20,2016, Makati City - Anchor Land Holdings, Inc., a premier developer of luxury condominiums in Manila, recently kicked off its CSR program called Anchor Land Care To Change with volunteers from employees and management executives under the stewardship of its President, Ms. Elizabeth Ventura. The first project under this program was a tree donation and volunteerism partnership with Haribon Foundation, Inc..

True to its 100% commitment in protecting the environment, Anchor Land donated 1,250 seedlings of lipote trees to be planted in a hectare of landsite in Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape in Laguna. The partnership also includes an additional 250 fruit-bearing trees that will be planted in Haribon’s chosen community.

“Amid the poised threats of super typhoons brought about by the effects of global warming, we believe that this is the most opportune time to show our dedication and care for the environment as a company. That is why we chose to partner with an organization like Haribon Foundation, which has the expertise and proper knowledge when it comes to nature conservation," Ventura said.

Arlie Jo Endonila, Constituency Development Department Manager of Haribon Foundation, lauded Anchor environmental intitiatives. “We are happy that Anchor Land has their Care to Change program. It shows how conscious they are about the need to take care of the environment. Their participation will help us in our forest preservation projects to ensure that we have a healthy watershed that will sustain our life support system,” said Endonila.

Anchor Land infuses green building concepts both in engineering and architectural designs, featuring amenities like ponds, gardens, patios, among others, that engage the residents to be aware of the importance of nature. The developer’s properties are approved by Feng Shui experts to ensure harmony between man and environment. In the likes of Admiral Grandsuites and Admiral Baysuites, the residents have breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset of Manila Bay. The skyscraping tower of Anchor Grandsuites in Binondo, the tallest residential tower across Chinatown worldwide, is a lucky representation of man’s dreams and aspirations.
