Anchor Land and DM Consuji Sign New Partnership for Anchor Grandsuites
Jul 04, 2017

Property developer Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. recently signed DM Consunji, Inc. (DMCI) as general contractor for its project in the 3rd district of Manila, Anchor Grandsuites. Prior to this project, ALHI has also worked with the construction company for two other Binondo projects, Princeview Parksuites and Oxford Parksuites.
As general contractor, DMCI is tasked to build Anchor Land’s tallest residential condominium thus far with the same high standards that the developer is known for. As one of the leading construction companies in the country, DMCI has Anchor Land in its list of institutional clients for their general building, industry, infrastructure, and other construction requirements.
Both Anchor Land and DMCI share the same reputation for delivering its projects on or before the targeted schedule of completion. For Anchor Grandsuites, construction is expected to be finished by December 2020.
“Demand for residential properties in Binondo is still on the upswing, and this new project will provide the right investment that the market is looking for,” said Anchor Land CEO Steve Li.  The presence of the property in Binondo also serves as an upgrade that families of hardworking executives deserve, with timeless quality that may be passed on to generations.
Anchor Grandsuites is envisioned to impose a commanding presence in bustling Binondo at 63 storeys, the highest in Manila and across all Chinatowns globally, that give a spectacular view of the skylines of Makati, Manila, and Binondo, as well as the breathtaking sunset of Manila Bay. It will be constructed along historic Masangkay St., on a lot where the house that Dr. Jose Rizal used to frequent once stood. The said house is also said to be the sanctuary of Dr. Rizal’s original manuscript of Noli Me Tangere.
Once built, Anchor Grandsuites will not only serve as a luxurious home to business owners within the busiest part of Manila, but as a wise investment as well. The property will be the first residential condominium to provide modern and stylish amenities that will be incorporated to suit the lifestyles of these Binondo entrepreneurs. The penthouse floor will have features such as an exclusive health club, fitness center and clubhouse.
“The best thing about working with a dynamic developer like Anchor Land is the challenge for us to match their high standards and perhaps even exceed their expectations. This is the kind of task that drives us to exceed our performance from our last project,” said Jorge A. Consunji, DMCI President/CEO.
With DMCI now officially tasked to handle construction, Anchor Grandsuites is definitely something that property seekers and investors would want to watch out for.
