Over the past two (2) months of work suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Anchor Land has retained all of its employees while ensuring that their monthly wages were distributed on schedule. With an efficient business contingency plan, some departments continue to deliver results through the Work-from-Home set-up.
Starting May 26, 2020, Anchor Land will gradually resume its business operations with strict precautionary measures in place at the Company’s head office in Makati City, following the government’s recent implementation of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ).
In cooperation with the administration of LV Locsin Building, Anchor Land ensures to carry out thorough sanitation and disinfection procedures of the office premises on the 11th, 15th and 16th floors, as well as in the common areas of the building, before the resumption of operations.
Further, Anchor Land has administered COVID-19 rapid tests for all employees who will be physically reporting to the office.
Upon the employees’ return to work, hygiene and safety measures will be strictly implemented, including regular thermal scanning, no-mask-no-entry policy at all times, and adequate social distancing. Sanitation procedures will be regularly conducted to prevent contamination within the premises. The workspaces will be limited to a specific number of employees per area and will be strictly monitored.
Only 50 percent of the employees will be returning to work physically, while the rest will continue to work remotely until further notice.
With the use of various digital communication platforms, Anchor Land has been able to conduct meetings without being physically present during the first two months of the community quarantine.
Once the office operations resume:1. All forms of non-physical meetings are highly encouraged. Necessary physical meetings are to be advised later or to be approved by department heads.
2. Telephones and available messaging apps such as text messaging, email apps, WeChat, Viber, Skype, Zoom, etc. will be used to communicate internally and externally until further notice.
Only the employees are allowed to enter the office premises until further notice. Unauthorized personnel, which includes delivery personnel, personal guests, and visitors, will not be allowed to go up to our office floors – 11th, 15th and 16th floors.
